Match the installation

Include photos of the engine mounts, flywheel or drive end, accessories and cooling arrangement. Tell us which parts stay with the pump and which need to be supplied with the engine.

Plan for the actual duty

Describe the material being pumped, normal operating schedule and site conditions. We use the application details to scope the build; pump sizing, piping, controls and site installation need their own confirmed responsibilities.

A useful quote starts here

Send the engine tag and equipment details.

  1. Engine model/serial number and pump or skid identification.

  2. Fuel type, rated RPM and power from the equipment records or tags.

  3. Coupling or drive details, cooling arrangement, operating hours and failure diagnosis.

Compare the whole job.

Assembly & scope

Confirm the machining, internal components, external equipment and test or commissioning responsibilities in writing. Engine work and complete-machine repair are different scopes.

Core & freight

Confirm whether exchange is required and whether a deposit is included or separate. A core must match the purchased engine and be rebuildable to receive credit. Freight and unloading arrangements are confirmed for the order.

Questions before you commit

Can I order from the model name alone?

No. The engine tag and equipment tag identify different parts of the application. Include both, along with fuel and operating details.

Is every engine shown ready to ship?

No. A guide describes an inquiry path. Current stock, build acceptance, price and lead time are confirmed for your specific order before payment.

Can you handle a natural-gas engine?

Yes. Big 3 builds natural-gas engines for industrial applications. Send the engine and equipment identification, fuel-system details and operating requirements for a build-specific quote.

Does this include the whole machine or site work?

The engine build is the starting scope. Removal, installation, generator electrical work, pump work, field service and commissioning are included only if specifically agreed in your quote.
