Find the right 5.3L engine for your Chevrolet or GMC. Compare actual product listings, review the build and warranty, then request help or place your order.
The listings below cover L84 applications including 2019+ Silverado/Sierra and 2021+ Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon. Confirm the original engine code before selecting a replacement.
Model years describe the application family, not automatic interchange. VIN/RPO, drivetrain, controls, fuel system, accessories and emissions configuration must match. L82, L83 and L84 are not interchangeable solely because each is a 5.3L.
Non-AFM or Non-DFM configurations require the hardware and calibration specified for the ordered build. Tell us about existing modifications and your intended use.

For an application-matched repair, compare customer-core rebuilding with the replacement long blocks offered for your engine. Inspection and the written build scope determine what is renewed or reconditioned.
Where listed, enhanced, premium and new-component builds offer different component packages. Compare the actual parts list, not the tier name alone. Performance use needs its own configuration review.
ETI Performance LLC provides full-service machine work using Van Norman and Sunnen equipment. Engine rebuilding includes application review, disassembly and cleaning, inspection and measurement, the agreed machining and component work, and assembly checks. The operations required depend on condition and the selected build.
Katech cylinder-head porting on Rottler CNC equipment and Spintron testing are available for selected work. Neither is automatically included in every replacement engine.

Shopping for a 5.3L or 6.2L replacement? These LT-family pages compare actual product options. Model years change at different times across pickups and SUVs. A Denali badge, shared displacement or similar photograph does not establish interchange. Confirm the VIN, engine code and original configuration first.
These are family-selection links, not a fitment list for every vehicle on this page. Older LS-family engines, HD trucks, diesels and specialty configurations need their own identification.
Send the VIN, transmission code or identification-label photo, engine details and 2WD/4WD configuration. Confirm the supplied converter, controls, programming, cooling-system work and installation scope in the quote. Engine displacement alone is not enough to select a transmission.
Compare the exact assembly price with installation, transferred accessories, required repairs and delivery. Core deposits are individually quoted and collected separately. Multiple engines, transmissions or mixed freight items require a shipping quote.
